Official statement: Global Mech Ltd, Elektra's top tech company, proudly announces the release of their latest creation: Beambot. This pocket-sized flying unit hides a compressed cannon inside. With its powerful light beam, Beambot has the capacity to destroy any target in a radius of 10 miles.

Role: Attacker

Overview

Beambot, the last Metropolitan monster from this Era, is a great attacker who's known for his Pierce access. Now before we go to his pros, let's mention his cons, since there aren't many. He's an easy bolt to any type of denial that's not Total Blind and all of his raw damage moves deal Light damage, making him weak to Light monsters. And... that's it. Now starting with his pros, his stats are great. Solid life for bulk, great speed by attacker standards and... THE HIGHEST POWER STAT IN THE METROPOLITAN ERA! His relics also give him stamina with Mask and a 2nd life with Essence, so that's great as well. And I'm not even talking about the deadly Metro talents he got access to. His trait set, is somewhat acceptable. Blind Immunity + SC: Precision does protect him from annoying accuracy drops while landing his Shock and Sunburn Tortures on umbrella traits much easier. Now moving onto rest of his movepool, he got access to the deadly Pierce, which applies before attack and gets removed after the attack is done (unless you got monsters with PEP like Slumster). Helping him be the ultimate hard counter to monsters like Lord Nebotus and Dark VoltaiK. His raw damage numbers are ok as well, with maximum Single 60 and AoE 35. He does have a way of boosting his raw damage numbers with a solid setup move in "Auto-Aim On" to give him extra damage and accuracy. And his cooldowns and stamina costs are surprisingly low, with all of his cooldowns being 2 CD or below and costing 42 or less. So overall, Beambot is very solid. Unfortunately he's outdated and outperformed in terms of both stats and movepool by newer attackers, but was still fairly good in his days.

Pros:

  • Great relics and stats, including THE HIGHEST POWER STAT IN THE METROPOLITAN ERA
  • Acceptable trait
  • 2 solid Tortures in Shock and Sunburn
  • Pierce BEFORE attacking
  • Ok raw damage output
  • Solid self-support move in "Auto-Aim On"
  • Low cooldowns and stamina costs

Cons:

  • Easily denied by everything except for Total Blind
  • Only raw damage he can do is Light, making him weak to Light monsters
