As the Great Protector of the Eastern Regions, Chi Ao Loong has lived through many incarnations. This time, Yaoguai Wangzhou summoned him hoping he would get rid of the Pure monsters revolting against the Dark Empire, but Chi Ao Loong's only mission is to put the interests of the country above any political ambitions.

Role: Curser

Overview

Chi Ao Loong is an outstanding curser that outpreforms most. His main gimmick is Trait Disable, which is good for countering monsters with insane traits like Lord Nebotus. He has the fastest Corrupted speed stat in the whole game. His move Ignorance is Bliss, despite being an AoE move, can bypass Taunt, making way for your attacker to rain upon Dodge Area with single target moves. But while his own trait seems good on paper, with Tough and 3 status casters including Team True Vision so the chances of missing an attack are very low, t's simply mediocre with 2 AoE Random Effects and Tough is just an umbrella trait with nothing else holding the umbrella. Team True Vision is also pretty useless considering he disables traits too. When paired up with Absolute Zero or Smite, this monster can dominate and break lots of team strategies. Overall, this monster is one of the best monsters in the meta currently.

Corrupted Dragon (AoE 30 Special dmg + Trait Disabled + Random Elemental Weakness, 42s, 2 CD)

Recommended Relics: Flameara's Essence, Uriel Essence; Masher's Staff, Sigrid's Staff, Pumpseed's Staff

Recommended Allies

Use monsters like Cruelectrek and Ingwe to absolutely destroy the opposing team with ease.
Use monsters like Pangoliath to protect your own Chi against other Chi's.

Counters

Use monsters like Ingwe to disable his insane synergy with Smite.
Monsters like Pangoliath give him a really hard time due to his trait blocking Ignorance is Bliss + Absolute Zero.
Monsters like Pure Pandalf can NER his entire team, giving all the monsters traits back.

He's a supporting antagonist of "Corrupted Era" saga, appeared as a major antagonist in both chapter 11 and 12.
Ao (ào, 傲) means proud in Mandarin and Loong (Lóng, 龙) means dragon, so therefore his name means "Proud Dragon"
