Ahran had been exhausted and desperate for a new life for some time so, when he asked his friends in Heaven for help, what they offered him was a whole new identity. With Diegael's assistance, he was able to transfer his soul from his old body into this new suit of armor, made of Metal and Stardust. He has a new name too: Ferrus!

Role: Support

Overview

Ferrus is a great Metal support with some neat gimmicks. He's able to boost team damage with Damage Boost + Precision or give a single ally Triple Damage with no drawback. His trait supports stamina neatly with Team Super Attuned and Stamina Regeneration, which means he's great with extra turners. He can also directly support with his good relics or single ally Maximum Stamina Increased and a Photophobic Shield to defend from damage. Speaking of which, he can also protect his entire team Photophobic Shield as well as reapplying Stamina Regeneration. That's not it, as he can PER then Nanovirus an enemy to remove and block positive effects. However, he severely suffers from lack of NER as a support.

Pros:

  • Decent trait
  • Good stamina recovery skills and relic slots
  • Great Support Effect in Damage Boost, Triple Damage, Photophobic Shields and Precision
  • Access to a Dark damaging skill as a Metal monster
  • Access to Nanovirus and PER
  • Insane speed
  • Team Photophobic Shield lasts for 2 turns
  • Moderate to low cooldowns on most moves

Cons:

  • No NER
  • Average life

Common Set-Ups

  • Ferrus / Bombeta (or Shelly) / Rusalka (or Vanoss2099): This team utilizes a Pierce attacker protected by a MegaTaunt monster to kill the enemy monsters. Where Ferrus shines in this composition is with his Triple Damage skill, which, when applied to a Pierce monster, allows them to easily kill any monsters hiding behind Taunt or MegaTaunt. As a bonus, Ferrus applies Photophobic Shields to allies, which can do a great job of protecting your tank from taking damage.
  • Runes: Ferrus: 2 Speed, 1 Team Speed; Bombeta / Shelly: 3 Team Speed; Rusalka / Vanoss2099: 1 Strength, 2 Speed.
  • Ferrus / Bombeta / Steamwrath: Steamwrath being a spam attacker with double super attuned can attack infinitely without worrying about stamina due to their combined traits. Meanwhile, Ferrus' has photophobic shield and Bombeta can protect your team.
  • Runes: Ferrus: 3 speed, Steamwrath: 3 Team Speed, Bombeta: 1 Life, 2 Team Speed

Counters

  • Magic attackers, like Hardy and Steamwrath, can deal loads of damage to him.
  • PER user like Ignis and Tabora can remove his buffs, most notably the Photophobic Shield.
  • Still easy to Deny. Lindworm's high speed can do just right, but the likes of Varupapu, Kodama and Master Masher are also good. Just remember that the likes of Fract-Bot and Slugazoid should be avoided since he has great Stamina Recovery, but Masher's Corrupted and Rody's CDA let them be viable.
