* Since Icebringer and his other variants are only Immune to Freeze, this leaves him vulnerable to most forms of deny. CDA won’t work a lot as Icebringer's skills have mostly low CDs, meaning he'll be able to use his other skills after a short amount of time. Stamina Drain doesn’t work either as Hydratila has 3 skills that costs no stamina, and all of those apply '''Team Stamina Regen'''. So really, Stun, Possession, Total Damage Reduction and Total Blind are the ways to go against Icebringer. General Thetys expelled Hydratila from her army when he confronted her about a strategy decision. Battling was Hydratila's life, so he felt that he had been left with nothing. He rebelled against the Water army, but he was defeated. Now he's back, stronger and with a new weapon!

Overview

Hydratila the Icebringer is a dangerous and versatile Water monster. His Immunity to Freeze makes him less likely to lose turns and his Super Attuned trait makes him gain 50 Stamina points when hit by Water-type attacks, which is very good against General Thetys' Stamina Devourers. Hydratila can also give Stamina Regeneration to his allies, make them Immune to Freeze, and Freeze all enemies at once. Overall, he's a really solid Water monster, and a great Nemesis.

Pros:

  • Great stats
  • Good damage output
  • 3 of his moves has cost no stamina and have no cooldown, so they're easily spammable and they counter both CDA and Stamina Drain.
  • Can apply Stamina Regen and Freeze Immunity to all allies
  • Mostly low cooldowns
  • Low stamina costs

Cons:

  • It's a Nemesis monster, meaning it costs real money to obtain.
  • Trait is kinda mediocre compared to other Nemesis monsters' Traits.
  • Few AoE moves
  • 4-Slot Syndrome (too many good skills to choose from).

  • Polar Fracture / Arctic Winds (Polar for 40 Water dmg + Freeze, 28s, 1 CD) / (Arctic for 55 Water dmg + AoE 50% Freeze, 31s, 1 CD)

Counters

  • Since Icebringer and his other variants are only Immune to Freeze, this leaves him vulnerable to most forms of deny. CDA won’t work a lot as Icebringer's skills have mostly low CDs, meaning he'll be able to use his other skills after a short amount of time. Stamina Drain doesn’t work either as Hydratila has 3 skills that costs no stamina, and all of those apply Team Stamina Regen. So really, Stun, Possession, Total Damage Reduction and Total Blind are the ways to go against Icebringer. Possessors such as Countess Flawless snd Baba Yaga, and Stunners such as Al Canine and Nabuline work well against Hydratila. Other monsters such as Dungeon Master (Total Blind) and the Nadiel variants (Total Damage Reduction) are recommended too.
  • Hard-hitting Thunder attackers can make quick work of Hydratila despite his average life stat. Good examples include Olnir and Toshiro.
