Markstache (Epikart)

Markstache is one of the most popular monsters to ever live. With his charismatic, optimistic personality and general friendliness towards whoever deserves it, there's not a single monster on the side of good that doesn't like him. As far as they know, he's just about perfect. However, not even the best of monsters are completely free from a dark side. Markstache has a condition that he hides from the public, for their sakes. At complete random, and out of his control, he'll suddenly change his personality completely in various ways. All of these personalities are actively malicious, coming in forms like a comical serial killer, a cunning and manipulative villain, and several others with similar psychopathy. While these personalities have taught Markstache a number of techniques and strategies that make him a force to be reckoned with, he would personally trade any of it away for the safety of those around him and control of his own life. Whenever he's seen by others (which is rather often), he tries to portray the personalities as costumed "alter-egos" and call it all an act, but he can't keep it up forever. He's still searching endlessly to this day to find a way to suppress these deadly versions of himself.

She appears as a woman with long wavy hair. She's wearing a revealing toga which is decorated by oceanic pattern.

Lore

The sister of the river god, Sarmor. Aquallia is an oceanic Goddess who is devoted by Thalassa in protecting the ocean and her kingdom. When Thetys who was empowered by Sarmor assaulted her own mother along with other traitors Aquallia stepped in and thwarted the rebellion. Now knowing that her jealous and vengeful brother has been freed, she prepared herself and her subjects for upcoming water war.

Overview

Counters

  • Strong Thunder attackers such as Wildbird can take her down quickly due to her low health. But be careful! if Aquallia gave one of her allies Thunder Hater, Wildbird or your Thunder attacker would be done for.
  • Monsters with Stun or Possession can deny her such as Baba Yaga, Al Canine, etch.

Sarmor (Darkus Imperator)

Sarmor can be obtained by obtaining his cells from Water Guardian Deities Event.

Appearance

Appears to be an entity formed by water, ice, and rocks.

Lore

Sarmor is jealous of his sister for winning the World's Ocean as her domain while he only received the river, lake, and Swamp. Unsatisfied with what he got, he attempted to take the Ocean by force but ultimately he was defeated and imprisoned in the depth of his own river domain by his sister and his own brethren who defended Aquallia's rightful claim. Millenias later he was freed by Thetys, Sphyrnus, and Water kingdom traitors who sought his help in overthrowing Thalassa and Aquallia. Filled with vengeance, anger, and resentment toward his sister he's ready to lead his new subjects in the upcoming water war.

  • Strong Thunder attackers such as Wildbird can take him down. But be careful! Sarmor can kill your Thunder Attacker easily if he still has his Thunder Hater active.

She appears as a young woman with wolf ears and tail. She's wearing a kimono and wielding 2 katanas.

Lore

Born as the daughter of Wolfkami and the Dark Emperor, Ginga-Hime is a demigoddess with exceptional potentials. Her mother put her on quest to find her father and to train her to become stronger and wiser. On her quest she happens to stumble upon the Monster Legends Islands where she meets so many monsters who give her so many combat experience and wisdom.

Overview

Ginga-Hime is a light attacker specialized in extra turn/spam attacks. She can attack her enemies without fearing Anticipation monsters since 4 of her extra turn moves give her evasion after attacking while her Rank 3 trait will protect her evasion from being removed by PER. Not only that 2 of her moves give her Pierce Hater in order to deal with Pierce monsters, the only ones who could pose a threat to her when her evasion is active.

Recommended Allies

  • Madam Fusion is a perfect ally for Ginga-Hime due to her turn transfer move and she also can recharge Ginga-Hime's stamina to keep her going in attacking enemy monsters. If enemy team has Eisul, Dunn Ra, and other Mega Taunt monsters Madam Fusion can deal with them by removing their Mega Taunt by either PER or Trait Disabled so Ginga-Hime won't stuck fighting only them.
  • Warmaster Elvira is another perfect ally for her since she can give her Evasion at the beginning of battle. Due to Ginga-Hime's Positive Effect Protected trait the Evasion can't be removed by PER making her safe until her turn unless if there are Pierce monsters who are faster than her on enemy team.
  • Eisul, Dunn Ra, Santerion, and other Mega Taunt monsters can protect her from being attacked but just like Elvira's case above if there are Pierce Monsters Mega Taunt won't be able to protect her.
  • Warmaster Babari and Warmaster Zahra can be good allies if she reached Rank 5, Babari's and Zahra's Torture Immunity Trait will make Rank 5 Ginga-Hime literally immune to all negative status effects until her turn arrives.

Counters

  • Zizania is a good counter due to being Metal monster and it has Pierce which can get through Ginga-Hime's Evasion. But be careful! due to having Pierce Hater in some of her moves she can kill Zizania if she goes first.
  • Dungeon Master, Al Canine, and other CDA monsters can stop her for at least 2 turns due to her movesets mostly have 2 to 3 CD.
  • Rociuko can land a lot of torture effects on her and being an Anticipation monster with Pierce she can counter Ginga-Hime's extra turns and get through her evasion. Again be careful! since Ginga-Hime has Pierce Hater in some of her moves she can kill Rociuko or even worse (for Rociuko) she managed to resist Rociuko's torture effects due the fact that Rociuko's tortures only have 50% chance to land not to mention her Tough trait reduces the chance to 15%.

Fuzong is the protector and guardian of Monster Legends. When he found out that his troublesome brother, Ao Loong, had left his duties, Fuzong had been on a long quest to find and punish Ao Loong for his deeds.

Bjallfinn was a water spirit who lived in the area where Brynhilda was held prisoner. He taught her ancient magic, but also secretly corrupted her to cause more chaos. He watched the war between Brynhilda and Sphyrnus, then destroyed the entire kingdom. He wandering the depths for more fun and destruction. Maybe he should meet Hookaui?

New Stuff

Trait Reversal: Trait disabled and whatever the trait was. For example, if the monster was immune to daze, it would now be trait disabled and dazed. If the monster had the trait Bleed Hater, it would now do 1/3 as much damage to bleeding monsters. Does not work on immune to instant death, artifact or spirit.

Traits: Fluid - All attacks have a 25% chance to miss.

Stamina Protection is self explanatory. Immune to Stamina Leak and Stamina removal.

How To Obtain

Every month there will be a Holy Spirit event. This will last for 7 days. At the start of each event, you must choose one Holy Spirit to obtain cells for. To choose a Holy Spirit, you must have 5 keys obtainable from League season rewards. You receive one key for Legendary IV, 3 keys for Legendary III, 5 keys for Legendary II, and 10 keys for Legendary I. Once you have chosen a Spirit, you must first complete a Maze path which awards you with 25 cells at the end, followed by an island with 25 cells at the end, followed by a dungeon with 25 cells at the end and finally a breeding event with different monsters every time. If you successfully complete the breeding event, you receive not a monster but another 25 cells. Progress on individual tasks is not saved, but overall progress is. Once you have unlocked a Spirit once, you do not need to unlock it again until you have completed its path. You can pay keys to repeat the Spirit’s path with higher difficulty but greater rewards. You can do each Spirit’s event up to 5 times.

Thaniat, The Shadow of Death

Thaniat, The Shadow of Death, has been leading souls to the Underworld since the beginning of time. Recently, however, she has felt that souls had been disappearing from the afterlife and soon realized that revivers such as Warmaster Necromancer were the culprit. Legend Dark

Lord Undying was a just ruler of an elvish kingdom long ago until he was cursed by Xasos to never find a way into Heaven nor Hell. He served as king for centuries until he became corrupt, then his kingdom overthrew him. They locked him away in a dungeon and thrust one of Uther's enchanted swords into his back, which killed him every time his soul returned to his body. Eventually he overcame and escaped, barely clinging to his life if not severely disfigured. His undying soul has a ghastly imprint on his body and leaves him with an unquenchable thirst for vengeance.

Legend Thunder Ventaura isn't actually a robot, despite how he appears. He was Ferronum's best friend long ago, before he went mad. He lashed out at Ventaura, leaving him fatally wounded in a laboratory full of synthetic body parts. With no other options, he pieced enough parts together to keep him alive, but in the process his body and the robotic limbs fused together and became overloaded with

electricity. He lost his sense of pain and had only one mission after that; to prevent Ferronum from hurting any innocent monsters.

Role: Tank/attacker that uses self-heal and a variety of thunder and metal attacks.

Description

The R.O.F.L robot was an old project designed by Hackster with assistance from MC Rex and HipHopotamus for the purpose of a friendly robot that could help with sending the monster world into an age without as many malevolent machines. Unfortunately, Hackster didn't make the smartest choice of assistants, since those two snuck behind his back one day and tried to make it "cooler" by adding Monsternet memes to its database. This, of course, only led to it becoming wild and unpredictable, and upon being activated, it went on a rampage with no care for anyone's safety. Hackster was unable to catch it, so he instead began work on building another robot that would be able to get it under control, this time on his own. Appearance Information

Basic Appearance

L.M.A.O. is an orange robot with a much sleeker and humanoid build compared to its clunky counterpart. It's body lacks a head, but it's torso contains a screen displaying various memetic faces based on what it does, defaulting to a Pandalf's face with the same expression as the one from the Staring through the Blinds The Office meme. This model also features legs in the adult form, using tank treads on the bottoms of its feet to move around, and its arms remain recycled from the old model, albeit slightly smaller and colored orange to fit the rest of the bot.

Animation Descriptions

Physical: L.M.A.O. rolls up in front of the foe and slaps them with both hands, simultaneously dabbing with a split-second sound effect of an extreme bass-boost.

Ranged: L.M.A.O. holds up a large sign against the foe reading "Vaccinations Kill", while its screen switches to a stereotypical angry Karen face.

Special: L.M.A.O.'s screen switches to the YouTube error symbol as its arms go limp. After a second, it then changes again to the Cool Guy face most commonly seen on the titular Reddit site, and the robot starts throwing up gravestones that show up out of nowhere around it, which all land on top of the foes in a rain. The move is then finished by the gravestones exploding into rubble and L.M.A.O.'s screen changing once again into a confused Pandalf before reverting back to its default.

Level Up/Victory: L.M.A.O. pulls out a trumpet and plays it to the sky as if introducing a king.

Damaged: L.M.A.O. lurches back in pain, its screen changing to a simple orange background with the bolded word "TRIGGERED".

Never before had a blacksmith of Trogdak's level been seen by the dwarves, and he was just as proficient of a fighter with his smithing tools as he was a smith with them. So Warmaster Gortak called upon him to be his champion at the Warmaster's Summits, and of course Trogdak could not turn down such an invitation from a Warmaster, so he happliy fights and wins for his idol!

Duke Veisal (Summit#7)

Duke Veisal was just a lowly peasant in Monstervania, until Warmaster Necromancer found him dying on the streets and taught him how to use magic. It turns out that Veisal had a gift for it that he never would have found if he'd never met Warmaster Necromancer! So Necromancer taught him everything that he knew about fighting, and now has his him repay him by fighting at the Warmaster's Summits once a year, the rest is vacation time.

Captain Hoot was the captain of the S.S. Flapper, and Warmaster Zahra's mentor. He taught her everything she knows, but refused to become a Warmaster so he could continue being a sea captain. But every once in a while, he'll have just enough time to get away and be Zahra's champion for the Warmaster Summit.
