As a bow champion, Spekthra was coveted by many, like Malair, who had tried to recruit her many times. At one point, he felt so humiliated by her that he sent his entire squad of Supervillains to her training center and tried to kill her. He succeeded only partially, and Spekthra survived as a ghost. To this day, she remains alone in her training center, planning her revenge against the Supervillains.

Role: Attacker/Curser

Overview

Spekthra is a fantastic Magic attacker/curser and the first Corrupted to use the dreadful Pierce. Not only does she have Pierce as a Status Caster, but she has two moves that apply it while dealing damage, meaning that Pierce can easily be maintained throughout the battle without needing to set it up. Not only does she have Pierce, but she has good speed and amazing power. Plus, her relic slots allow her to regain/drain stamina and increase her already fantastic power. Nearly all her skills have 1 CD except for Culling The Weak, which has an awful 4 CD. However, Culling The Weak applies 3 of the most useful negative effects in one AoE; being Negate Healing, Vulnerable and Guard Down. On the con side, her life stat is completely awful, being the lowest of Corrupted monsters. Also, she is easily denied. Her main role used to be an attacker, but since her damage has been outclassed by better attackers, she became more viable as a curser. Pierce, along with Dispelling Fist, allows her to use Falling Fire to PER the entire enemy team (even with Mega Taunt), and follow it up with Culling The Weak to allow an ally attacker to wreck havoc. With the release of Absolute Zero, a denier variant of Spekthra has emerged, which uses her speed and piercing abilities to Megafreeze the entire enemy team.

Pros:

  • Amazing power
  • Excellent trait
  • Can easily maintain Pierce throughout the battle
  • Access to 4 useful negative effects
  • Great relic slots
  • Moderate to low stamina costs
  • Has a Fire skill as a Magic Monster
  • Has a decent 0s, 0 CD move meaning she’s fine against Stamina Removal and CDA
  • Extremely low cooldowns, excluding Culling The Weak

Cons:

  • Lowest Corrupted life stat
  • Culling The Weak has 4 CD

Recommended Moveset

The Fortified Compound (Attacker)

  • Death Stroke (35 Magic dmg, 0s, 0 CD)
  • Falling Fire (AoE 35 Magic dmg + Burn, 45s, 1 CD)
  • Bullseye! / Fire Bolt (Bullseye! for Self Pierce + 45 Special dmg, 30s, 1 CD) / (Fire Bolt for 40 Fire dmg + Burn, 25s, 1 CD)
  • One Shot, One Kill (Self Pierce + 60 Special dmg, 40s, 1 CD)

Don’t run Culling the Weak when using Spekthra as an attacker on Defense. This is because the AI will use the move with the highest CD and stamina cost (Culling the Weak has this). You want the AI to use Falling Fire to either trigger UA (if using) or to damage the enemy team greatly. By doing this, you can save yourself many losses in Defense.

Recommended Runes: 2 Strength, 1 Speed/Team Speed/Life; 2 Speed, 1 Strength

(The Life rune is used to allow Spekthra to tank a R5 Soul Drag).

Recommended Relics: LazarBeam's Sword, Cain's Sword; Tayni's Amulet, Sherezar's Amulet

Recommended Talents: Unrelenting Assault, Dispelling Fist, Banishing Touch

I don't need an AimBOT! I need skill! (Curser)

  • Culling The Weak (AoE Negate Healing + Vulnerable + Guard Down, 50s, 4 CD)
  • One Shot, One Kill
  • Falling Fire
  • Bullseye / Fire Bolt / Death Stroke

Recommended Runes: 3 Speed

Recommended Relics: LazarBeam's Sword, Cain's Sword; Sherezar's Amulet, Tayni's Amulet

Recommended Talents: Smite, Dispelling Fist, Absolute Zero

Counters

  • She is easily denied due to her trait. Deniers like Pure Pandalf will work in neutralizing this glass cannon.
