What's a Trait?

All monsters have one Trait, which will help them in battle by giving them an immunity to one or multiple negative status effects like Burn or Freeze, or by giving them an advantage against monsters of a certain book (like Winged) or monsters suffering from a Torture effect (talking about Bleed Hater here). These traits can also help them when attacked by giving them stamina (like Super Attuned)... etc. There are plenty of different types of Traits: here they all are.

Immunities

These Traits give Immunity to a certain negative status effect. They can be of different kinds:

Special Immunities

  • Abomination - Gives Immunity to all kinds of Possession, Bleed and Nightmares
  • Artifact- Immune to all status effects, even positive (except instant effects like Heal or instant Stamina Regen)
  • Celestial - Gives Immunity to Stun, MegaStun and Bleed
  • Demon - All status effects have 20% less accuracy against this monster + Burn and Ignite Immunity
  • Gravedigger - Gives Immunity to all kinds of Possession and Nightmares
  • Mountain - Gives Immunity to Stun and Freeze
  • Spirit (Totem) - Immune to all negative status effects but can still receive positive effects

Hater Traits

These traits give Triple Damage against monsters of a certain book, trait, etc.

Book Hater Traits

  • Spirit Hater (Lady Solaris) - Gives Triple Damage against monsters of the Spirit book

Status Effect Hater Traits

  • Bleed Hater (Cain) - Gives Triple Damage against monsters that have the Bleed negative status effect.

Warmaster Traits

These traits are exclusive to Warmaster monsters, they all are different but have one common point: they give a special trait to the Warmaster and another Trait to the rest of the team.

  • Warmaster Babari's Trait: Self Tough + Team Torture Immunity + SC: Team 100% Damage Mirror
  • Warmaster Barbael's Trait: Self Tough + Team Damage Increased
  • Warmaster Elvira's Trait: Self Tough + Team Blind Immunity + SC: Team Evasion (1T)
  • Warmaster Gortak's Trait: Self Control Immunity and Team Stun and MegaStun Immunity
  • Warmaster Necromancer's Trait: Self Tough and Anticipation + Team Regular and Exclusive Possession Immunity
  • Warmaster Ragnarok's Trait : Self Hardened + Anticipation + True Vision + SC: Random Warmaster Status Caster
  • Warmaster Remntar's Trait: Self Tough + Team Special Immunity + SC: Team Skill Mirror
  • Warmaster Sherezar's Trait: Self Tough + Team True Vision + SC: Team Cooldown Protection
  • Warmaster Thalassa's Trait: Self Tough + Team Freeze and MegaFreeze Immunity + SC: Team Double Maximum Stamina
  • Warmaster Zahra's Trait: Self Tough and Team 50% life increase. SC: Torture Immunity

Status Casters

The Status Caster, or SC, is a special type of Trait. It gives a temporary advantage to your team (or a disadvantage to the enemy) at the start of the game for the first few turns.

Area

  • SC: Area 50% Shield (Inquisitor Fulmen / Synaptikus) - Gives a shield that absorbs 50% incoming damage.
  • SC: Area Control Immunity (Eeltron) - Gives Control Immunity.
  • SC: Area Cooldown Protection - Prevents for cooldowns to be activated
  • SC: Area Damage Boost (Nitroblaster) - Increases monsters' damage by 50%.
  • SC: Area Dark Protection (Morgz) - Incoming reduced dark damage is reduced by 50%.
  • SC: Area Ignite (Saulot) - Applies Ignite to all enemies at the start of the battle
  • SC: Area Light Weakness (Zameleon) - Incoming Light Damage is increased by 50%
  • SC: Area Magic Weakness (LazarBeam) - Incoming magic damage by 50%.
  • SC: Area Minor Blind (Lord Pumpseed) - Applies Minor Blind to all enemies at the start of the battle
  • SC: Area Poison (Wickah) - Deals Nature damage equal to 10% of total life and reduces damage by 20%. Lasts four turns.
  • SC: Area Possession Immunity (Saika / Silverleaf) - Gives Possession Immunity
  • SC: Area Quicksand (Ugluk) - Deals 15% Earth damage for 4 turns.
  • SC: Area Random Protection (Mirak) - Applies a random protection to all allies
  • SC: Area Shock (Crabbydroid / Gorg) - Deals Thunder damage equal to 5% of its total life and blocks extra turn skills. Lasts three turns.
  • SC: Area Random Element Hater (Lazarbeam) - Applies a random element hater to everyone for 3 turns
  • SC: Area Random Element Weakness (Zorky) - Applies a random element weakness to all enemies
  • SC: Area Random Negative Effect (Devastress) - Applies a random negative effect.
  • SC: Area Random Hater (Zenfira) - Applies a random hater to all allies
  • SC: Area Reverse Healing (Yedra) - Healing effects cause damage
  • SC: Area Stamina Drain (Wangzhou) - Removes 50% stamina from the enemies
  • SC: Area Stamina Regeneration (Froma / Hobkin) - Restores 20% stamina to all allies.
  • SC: Area Sunburn (Draghar / Korruptus) - Deals Light damage equal to 10% of its total life and reduces accuracy reduced by 15%. Lasts three turns
  • SC: Area Torture Immunity - Torture Immunity to all allies

Self

  • SC: Self-50% Damage Mirror (Hyperia) - Deals 50% damage back to the attacker
  • SC: Self-50% Shield (Treetopog) - Gives a shield that absorbs 50% incoming damage.#
  • SC: Self-Anticipation - Gets a turn before a monster performs a skill with extra turn.
  • SC: Self-Control Immunity (Lamia) - Gives Control Immunity.
  • SC: Self-Cooldown Protection (Vandecken) - Prevents effects of cooldowns being activated
  • SC: Self-Damage Boost (Rekka / Zenfira / Knightingale) - Increases monsters' damage by 50%.
  • SC: Self-Damage Mirror (Volthar) - Applies a 100% Damage Mirror at the start of the battle

Other Traits

  • Anticipation - Gets a turn before a monster performs a skill with extra turn.
  • Attuned - Regains 15 Stamina Points when hit by Weak attacks
  • Bulwark - All status effects have 50% less accuracy against this monster
  • Energized - Has 20% more Stamina
  • Hardened - All status effects have 20% less accuracy against this monster
  • Orc - All status effects have 25% less accuracy against this monster
  • Resurrection Block - The enemy cannot be resurrected until the monster with this Trait is dead
  • Super Attuned - Regains 50 Stamina Points when hit by Weak attacks
  • Taunt - All enemies attack are directly hit at the monster that has this trait.
  • Tough - All status effects have 35% less accuracy against this monster
  • True Vision - Double Precision
