#10 (Tied). Hornet[]
One of the few monsters which a confusing gender, Hornet was a dominant force to be reckoned with. Hornet can deal lots of damage despite having low power, as they remove Life by percentages. Their main gimmicks include PER, Nanovirus, Blind, Damage Reduction, and Guard Down. Hornet has a very high speed stat, DA as a trait, and even Anticipation as an SC! However just like Tabora, Hornet's lower due to being a good Supporter too, protecting allies with Control and Torture Immunity.
#10 (Tied). O'Reilly[]
Ah, if it isn't the Master of Dungeons himself. His trait, Dodge Area is self-explanatory. He can PER then give random negative effects to all enemies or spread other negative effects with Bleed, Poison, Damage Reduction and even Stun to deny the enemy team. If he wanted too, he could also shut down attackers with Total Damage Reduction. His relics and stats were good too. He can NER an ally along with applying a random positive effect as well.
#9. Warmaster Barbael[]
Barbael, who used to be absolutely broken... He's in the list even though his main role is denier. Barbael (a.k.a Barbatos' brother) is the Fire Warmaster and also one of the fastest deniers in the game. He utilizes Total Blind (and only Total Blind for denial), Trait Disable to help his denial, and 2 tortures in Ignite and Sunburn. However, he's lower due to being easily countered by the common NER and his supporting side being decent too, having Team Damage Boost to increase his team's damage output and making him deal a bunch of damage. He also has a Team NER + Team Blind Immunity skill by the way.
#8. Draghar[]
Well isn't it Zeighar's right hand dragon... Anyways, Draghar was much more powerful than Zeighar himself obviously. He has a high amount of DoTs and great stats in his arsenal. His trait had an SC that basically applys a torture in Sunburn to all enemies. He also has other tricks up his wings, like Team 25% Heal and Life Regen, AoE Daze + Trait Disabled, Single PER + Trait Disabled + Stun which basically guarantees a single enemy denial, and AoE Nightmares and Bleeding. He also has AoE Curse move and an AoE Guard Down + Sunburn move in his movepool too. Having a self Double Damage skill that also applies Evasion to himself but applys a self torture in Sunburn to himself too and having a godly power stat in 3,630, he can also be run as an Attacker. *claps* But he sorta lacked even back then.
#7. Nadiel the Pyromancer[]
Back then, Nadiel the Pyromancer was everything a Curser needed. He had great stats and trait. Since Dodge Area wasn't even a thing back then, he was able to do AoE moves like crazy as he had loads of them in his movepool. Damage Reduction, Guard Down, Reverse Healing, Ignition and Burn all in AoE moves, that's some very great cursing. He even has a Team NER + 30% Heal to ruin everybody's day.
#6. White Pandalf[]
He's basically the Fampirastral back in the old days. he had AoE PER and can apply 2 random negative effects all in one move, also having access to Stun, Possession, Stamina Leak, and a damage-dealing stamina regaining move (which doesn't have a cooldown, negating the ridiculously broken Timerion). His trait was good too, having Possession Immunity for his age. A 3,432 speed stat was considered good back then as well.
#5. Tabora[]
Sitting at number 6, we have Arobat's (which is her name reverse) sister, Tabora. She is the Cosmic curser known for disabling traits along with removing positive effects from enemies in the same move, making her an amazing ally for deniers and especially Kodama back in the beginning of the Cosmic Era. Just like how she disables traits and removes positive effects, she can protect them too. Speaking of traits, her trait protects from Stun and allows her to land hits with True Vision. This goes well with her spreading negative effects like Quicksands, Damage Reduction, and Curse. Her stats and relic slots are great for a Support too. She also has access to Team NER as well. But thanks to doing her job as a Supporter also pretty well, but she's only slightly lower here thanks to her Supporter role but still enough to grant her a high spot thanks to how dominant she was in the early Cosmic Era days.
#4. Llum the Magical Matriarch[]
Llum is a pretty diverse monster, hence two roles, with some denial in Stun and many other negative effects like Blind, Damage Reduction, Stamina Leak, Special Weakness and even PER. Her stats were amazing and her relic slots were great. However, she lower for the same reason, being diverse due to this list only focusing on cursing. Her supporting side has 2 Team NERs, having the godly Team NER + Double Damage + Precision and Team NER + Damage Boost + 30% Heal moves in her movepool.
#3. Spekthra[]
Originally meant an attacker, she was even better as a curser (especially since right now her attacking movepool is so weak and outclassed by better attackers) thanks to having Pierce (and the first Corrupted to use the gimmick), a certain move in Culling the Weak, and Obscure Talents existing. She can easily maintain her Pierce as her moves doesn't remove Pierce at all, especially with every move except for Culling the Weak having 1 CD or lower. With True Vision as a trait, she can land her attacks more easily and can make you live through a terrible nightmare. Pair her with Dispelling Fist, Smite, or Absolute Zero. That's how versatile she is. Also she's the reason why the Life rune meta exists now.
#2. Chi Ao Loong[]
Smite. Just Smite dude. He single-handedly wiped out SC: Mega Taunt, he'll just go disable your traits, has a PER + ET move, then bam your positive effects are gone if you don't have a Pangoliath. Absolute Zero was also a common talent on him to make him a denier too, but the aforementioned Pangoliath exists. TL;DR: No monster's positive effects were safe from him if he uses Smite.
#1. Fampirastral[]
And for the top spot we have the aforementioned female Voldemort. She was astonishing and basically uncounterable for her own time, having such a high speed stat to come along with and with SO many PER. She was able to bypass PEP with Moon Rising, which PERs twice, she has an AoE PER skill, and even a PER skill that comes with an extra turn. That's hard-countering many positive effects bro. Her damage output is good despite having the lowest Cosmic power stat. Her negative effects include Total Blind, Regular Blind, and two tortures in Bleed and Nightmares. Her trait is amazing as Control Immunity protects from many deniers and True Vision helps with hitting her plethora of status effects and just make your misery worse. Oh, and she has 2 extra turn skills too.
