I finally released my Top 20 fire monsters, but before I get into the top 20, here are some monsters that could have made it, but have some problems that keep them out of it. 

Honorable Mentions

Viperhotep

The embodiment of Randy Orton if he was actually a snake and from Egypt because he will stun you with an RKO out of nowhere. His stats are bad all around (3,476 speed for a denier…) and he has what seems like an unfinished moveset. He can AoE stun with AoE 45 special damage, but it costs 40 stamina and has a 3 turn cooldown. Luckily for him, all the rest of his moves have really low stamina costs, but sadly have high cooldowns. He does have a good trait being immune to possession, since most fire monsters aren’t immune to possession. He could have a spot on this list if his stats were given a pretty substantial boost and his skills were given some better effects.

Yamada

HHHHEEEEAAAALLLL! That is Yamada’s most notable use. He has overall solid stats, but nothing too eye-opening, his trait is Hardened which is a nice touch. He has very low stamina costs as well as semi-low cooldowns (depending on the kit you use) to boot. He can apply double healing and damage boost to his allies. He has the trap relic which gives him a little bit of a different purpose than just healing. He has many other moves that heal his allies, but if you face a monster that can apply reverse healing (Marihelson is finally useful for once) or negate healing this usefulness is useless. Please Focus is a must need in his kit just to avoid this problem, but if you don’t have it you are absolutely screwed. If Yamada did more than just heal he could secure a spot on the list

Remiel

Remiel is a pretty generic attacker. He can apply Fire weakness and Special Weakness to all allies (Special weakness for him is useless, since he has no significant special damaging moves, it helps his teammates more). He has a decent trait with Celestial giving him immunity to stun which not many Fire monsters have. He has a great self support move that has NER, heals him by 25%, and gives him double damage for only 17 stamina. He can hold Uriel’s essence, but sadly it isn’t that useful for him because he doesn’t make the biggest impact and the rest of the essence relics don’t really help him either. He can hold Baltasar’s Mask to increase his strength. His relic slots are not very useful for him. Overall decent, but just barely short of not making the list due to having nothing that special.

Now, onto the Top 20 Fire Monsters currently in the game!

20. Firael


Firyna’s and Ragnael’s baby boy (yes, he's a guy, he has a move called Fire Princess SON). Firael is a very good support monster that has the luxury of covering more than 2 elements. Aside from the Fire element and Special element, he can also cover the Dark element. (Too bad his dark damaging skills aren’t that great…) His damaging moves surprisingly deal a lot of damage for a support monster. Along with this he has pretty low cooldowns on all his skills, as well as the cost of stamina is not very high. He can give team immunity to freeze, NER and team double damage. He can also apply team stamina regen with precision and damage boost. He can use Cane of Atlantis to refill their stamina. With Osur’s Amulet he can increase the team’s strength and speed. These pair well with his already great supporting ability. He is loaded with great support moves and an ok trait, but my god are his stats absolutely garbage. If his stats were better he could definitely be way higher on the list.

19. Igursus

Igursus is hella slow, like slower than speed walking grandmas. What he lacks in speed he makes up for in his health. His health is over 40,000. He can tank for your monsters and deal damage to the enemies. He has shields, skill mirror and some torture effects. So in a way he can also tear away at the opponents HP with torture effects. Did I mention he also has Mountain as his trait? Well this trait is really good for Igursus since he can only be cooldown activated (he has high cooldowns) and possessed. Overall his relic slots aren’t the best since they don't really affect him. He has no NER so torture effects destroy him. The reasons why the volcano isn’t actively at the top of the list and instead is dormant at the bottom of the list (see what I did there with the volcano lingo? No, ok I’ll stop), is because his speed honestly could stop him from even getting a turn off in a battle, his cooldowns are high, so if he gets a turn he would have to recharge, and torture effects kill him.

18. Kaih the Eradicator

Kaih the Eradicator: He’s basically a worse version of Drakor without all the stuns and more of a focus on ignition and burn. He has a great power stat of 3,663 with the rest of his stats being below average. With this power he’s able to dish out lots of damage. He has an AoE 50 fire damage (with a 4 turn cooldown!) and a single enemy 75 special damage (with a 2 turn cooldown!). Kaih's relic slots help him deal more damage to help serve his purpose. He has pretty high cooldowns and moderately high stamina costs. The only status effects he can inflict are burn and ignite. For an attacker he has no move that buffs up his damage so he relies on raw power instead of any self buffing, hurting his damage output. Kaih does however, have one of the best traits in the game with it being Bulwark. Overall Kaih is just outclassed by many attackers in this element.

17. Lucifire the Lifemelter

Probably one of the worst nemesis monsters created. Being the standard fire nemesis, Lifemelter has the worst stats of the Lucifires. She has an average power, above average life, and average speed for an attacker. She has some high damaging skills, but with her power being average her damage output isn’t the best. Her trait is pretty mediocre, her cooldowns are high, and her stamina costs are high. Although she has great skills she can’t really do her job of being an attacker due to her average power.

16. Granuy

Someone explain to me how he is Tulekahju’s son when Tulekahju is a bird and Granuy is a frog. Aside from that, Granuy is a great monster. He has access to 3 elements: Fire, Special, and Water. Having access to the Water element comes in handy being a part of the Fire element because it helps him destroy other Fire legends. He has great support moves and he has many good moves. He has lots of NER and other ways to help set up his teammates. Along with great support moves he has access to torture effects like burn and poison. He also has AoE PER, which is extremely useful in today’s meta. You have the ability to mix up your kit depending on your preference. Granuy's relic slots could be better. The problem is all his moves have high cooldowns and high stamina costs. Along with this he does have outdated stats. He basically is a better version of Firael. If Granuy was given stats to match today’s monsters he would be a huge force to be reckoned with.

15. Igneus

The last monster that ever was used in the Titan Invasion event (honestly, it was a fun event). Igneus has the great ability to dish out 6x his normal damage. He has burn hater (3x damage against a burned enemy) and can apply fire weakness (2x damage to any enemy with fire weakness). This greatly skyrockets Igneus’ damage potential. Igneus even has one move, Magma Rain, that applies burn and fire weakness to all enemies, as well as burn hater to himself for 0 CD. While having this is great, it does require a turn to set it up and then have him get another to do the damage. So his ability to deal all this damage can easily be countered by NER. This would most likely require Igneus to have a turn transefer on his team. Other than this Igneus is pretty bland and all the rest of his moves do the same thing minus one effect. For an attacker, Igneus has a pretty low power stat, below 3,500, which does hurt his damage output. His life stat is very good which can keep him alive, but his speed stat is a little low causing him to struggle to get another turn off to dish out his 6x damage. Luckily he has pretty low cooldowns and moderate stamina costs. If he had a higher power stat and didn’t need 2 turns to deal his full damage he could be way higher.

14. The Inheritor

Probably one of the most badass looking monsters in the game, The Inheritor has stood the test of time and is still really viable in the game. He is an attacker that can serve as a secondary denier if needed due to his AoE possession. He has great stats for how old he is, with a power almost above 3,600 and health above 31,000. With these stats he can deal out damage with some fairly powerful AoE skills and manage to live for a good amount of turns. He can also add to this damage with DoTs like Ignition and Burn. His relics slots are a bit interesting. He has essence, which is great since he can use the Uriel Essence, and armor so he stays alive. He has Demon, which is just Hardened + immunity to burn and Ignite which isn't bad. He has moderate cooldowns and stamina costs which can hurt him in battle, but what really hurts him the most is any monster immune to burning and Ignition (Mephisto has entered the chat). If he faces this he has to rely on raw power which isn’t the greatest for him due to the fact that he has 0 skills that buff his damage. The Inheritor lacking a good self buffing move and being relying a bit too much on Ignition and Burn does keep him a bit lower on the list.

13. Drakor

Drakor is one of the 3 fire elite monsters in the game (SP there are other elements in the game that could use elites) and he is arguably the worst fire elite. He has an average power stat at 3,619, a good health stat above 38,000 and a below average speed stat barely above 3,400. Most of Drakor’s skills are pretty repetitive since most apply either stun or mega stun. Because of this he is really weak to any monsters that are immune to stun. He can apply fire weakness to all enemies, helping him immensely because he has an AoE 50 fire damage move. Along with this AoE, he has a single enemy 70 fire damage move guaranteed to take out any monster with fire weakness. Surprisingly, he has an AoE 50% mega stun skill with 0 CD and an AoE mega stun + stun move. He has low cooldowns on some moves, but high cooldowns on some of his better moves. He also has massive stamina costs causing him to be weak to stamina removal (especially since not many armor relics can reapply stamina and he has 2 armor relic slots). He's immune to both stun and freeze, but isn’t immune to possession. Not being immune to possession for Drakor can be severe. If he gets possessed he has the possibility to cost your team the whole game depending on what happens when he is possessed. Overall, a great monster, but has some glaring weaknesses stopping him from edging up on the list.

12. Saulot

Hi, my name is Saulot and my dog is amazing. Saulot is a slightly worse version of Jasastur in terms of denying. They both can AoE possess (Jasastur has nightmares with his), they can both mega possess, they both have Abomination as their trait, and they have the same speed, but then they differentiate and Saulot focuses on DoTs and Jasastur drains stamina. The problem with Saulot is that if he faces anyone that is immune to possession, he loses his best denying ability, while Jasastur can still drain stamina without relics and support his teammates a little. Also, if Saulot faces torture immunity he loses another key aspect of his skills since Saulot thrives on DoTs. Saulot does have a great life stat however, being over 40,000. Additionally, his trait being abomination is overall a great trait, but he also has a status caster of AoE ignition which is great as well (unless he faces torture immunity). He has great relic slots, trap and staff, because he can run the Oblation Trap and Oblation Staff to get rid of the stamina of the opponents. He has high cooldowns. The main reason why he is this low on the list is all due to the fact that Jasastur is the overall better denier option being that these two are very similar. Before someone says, “but Jasastur is a dark monster…" I realize this, but Jasastur and Saulot are similar and Jasastur just does the job better. This makes Saulot less useful in general making him lower.

11. Metalisha

Metalisha is one of the older monsters that still has a good use in today’s meta. She is an exceptional turn transferer and supports attackers like there is no tomorrow. She can increase her allies damage while removing control effects, she can revive an ally, give an ally an extra turn + 50% stamina + ignition, she can apply taunt to an ally, and she has useful AoEs. In a nutshell, Metalisha has so many useful moves that she can have a variety of movesets and be extremely unpredictable. All her moves have surprisingly low stamina costs for how useful they are. Her moves however do have high cooldowns, but her AoEs only have a 1 turn cooldown. She has an amazing speed stat of 3,542 which helps her apply all the buffs to her teammates as quickly as possible, but she has the same durability as the guitar pick she uses. The fact that her life is really low does hurt her chance of being able to live long and help her teammates as long as possible. The positive effects she gives to her allies can get removed quite easily. She is a very good team speed holder and has a variety of ways in supporting her teammates giving her a great use making her have a respectable spot on this list.

10. Lucifire the Hopefreezer

The second fire nemesis on this list. This is the water version of Lucifire and she is pretty useful against many fire monsters. She has some great water damage dealing moves that can take out most fire monsters in 1 shot. For example, she has a single enemy 75 water damage move + freeze, so even if the enemy lives after getting hit they will most likely be frozen and lose their turn. She has an AoE damage reduction + blind + PER, which is really useful because PER is basically a necessity now.  She also can use burn and ignition to help her total damage output. Along with this she has an amazing power stat of 3,685, rivaling many top attackers power stats. Even better is that she has a solid speed stat for an attacker, 3,454. Her health stat is also very solid at about 34,000. She does have a pretty mediocre trait only being immune to freeze and burn. She has high cooldowns and stamina costs. Sadly, she is an attacker, but has no way to buff her damage output.

9. Warmaster Barbael

Barbael is known as the worst Warmaster in the game. He has the worst trait out of all the Warmasters (tough + team damage boost is pretty bad), he has an amazing speed stat, 3,575, but is an unreliable denier, and when ranked up his moves aren’t that impressive either. On the bright side, his other stats are very good. His single enemy moves deal a lot of damage and he can disable traits, which is very useful since traits are getting crazier and crazier. His AoE moves barely do any damage (yes I know he isn’t an attacker, but still it’s really low). Total blind is his form of denial and it’s one of the worst forms in the game, and he only has 2 DoTs. Another major setback he has is his generally high cooldowns and stamina costs. Barbael has the problem that he doesn’t excel in any role. He has too unreliable of a deny to be a good denier, he has too low of power to be an attacker, he has too little DoTs to be a curser, and he has too little of support moves to be a supporter. There is a reason he is one of the worst Warmasters, but the main reason why he is this high on this list is because of his amazing stats and his skills are still good.

8. Marquis de Flambe

Marquis was the race monster literally designed to counter Charmless and do much more. For starters, his power stat is very very high, his life is good, and his speed is almost 3,500 (he is as fast as some of the older deniers). Now, his trait is also a very good one. He has hardened, solid, and anticipation. Anticipation being a part of his trait is extremely useful since more and more viable skills that monsters use have extra turns, so before that he can stick himself in there and attack the enemy team. Speaking of attacking the enemy team, he has 2 different approaches he can take: he can DoT the enemies to death with 4 different DoTs, or he can try to take them out 1 by 1 with his heavy damage dealing single enemy moves. Obviously both these approaches have a weakness, the first one being torture immunity, the second one being taunt, but they are both extremely useful. Marquis has great moves and surprisingly his highest cooldown is only 2 turns and his stamina costs aren’t too high. He has the sword relic, which can help add to the damage he deals to the enemies. Marquis does have the flaw most fire attackers have and it’s the fact that he can’t buff up his damage. Overall, Marquis has so many uses that he is high on the list. He’s only being held back by the fact that killing enemies can be a little harder for him due to his weaknesses stated earlier.

7. Lucifire the Helltaser

I originally had her at 5th on this list, but then I realized that the 2 monsters below her are better. Now she is 7th. She is the thunder version of Lucifire, so she is strong against the one element that’s strong against her. Being, the thunder Lucifire, she can use thunder damaging moves to take out water monsters. She has a single enemy 75 thunder damage + stun move so even if a water monster does live from this attack they will most likely be stunned. This is her main difference with Hopefreezer (aside from a few small stat changes), but I believe it’s just that big of a difference that separates these 2 a few spots apart. Also, if a water monster attacks her it will most likely be a denier or support water monster because she has a good speed for an attacker. This helps her even more because most water monsters have freeze and Lucifire is immune to freeze, so if she gets attacked she most likely won’t be stopped by a water monster. She has the rest of the good moves that Hopefreezer has, so I don’t need to go into detail about that. She is one of the few fire monsters that actually has the ability to deal with monsters in Water, especially with her very high power stat of 3,663. She has access to relic slots that deal out damage and heal her. Obviously, she still has the same cons as Hopefreezer, but she just has so many better pros. I think the fact that she can deal with water monsters fairly easily is why she should be this high on the list.

6. Belbreath

Belbreath is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful looking monsters created by SP, so props to SP. She has the 3rd highest speed in the game with 3,608. This speed allows her to get a turn quickly and set up her allies for success. She can support her team and get an extra turn through most of her moves. These extra turns allow her to effectively set up her teammates to make sure they can do what they need to and win you the game. Belbreath’s moves have low cooldowns, so you can basically cycle through her extra turn moves until she runs out of stamina. Belbreath can also take some hits as well with her life stat just above 36,000. Her trait, tough + SC anticipation, is very good because many effects will have a hard time hitting Belbreath. The status caster of anticipation can be removed, but is very useful since it can give Belbreath a turn and let her set up her teammates after the enemy uses an extra turn move. Belbreath does have some downsides, however. Her PER and NER moves are not AoE (but they only have a 1 turn cooldown each so you can just cycle between them if needed), if you do cycle between her NER and PER moves it stops her from being able to set up her teammates a little, with all her extra turns she is weak to anticipation, and her team Hydrophobic shield doesn’t protect her from her elemental weakness. The pros heavily outweigh the cons for Belbreath, being a huge reason why she is this high on the list.

5. Ingenica

The lady that brought us the Relics Forge and changed up the entire game and meta game. She can disable traits and is one of the best monsters at doing it. To illustrate, she has an AoE trait disable + AoE PER move. That right there has two of the most useful effects in the meta rolled up into 1 skill. She even has access to the magic element. One of her skills deals 65 magic damage, so unlike most Fire monsters she can easily deal with metal monsters. Her skill Update Released has a team NER + team artifact hater (Ik it says 50% chance, but I have never seen it miss). Ingenica, also can buff up the damage of 1 of her teammates, while removing their negative status effects. On top of all this, she has a great speed stat of 3,553. Her trait, tough, allows most status effects to miss her and her CDs are generally low. She also has access to Staff and Amulet relics, which help her support her teammates even more by healing them, giving them stamina, or removing the enemies stamina. She is one of the best Team Speed holders in the game, having some of the best effects in the game in her skills.

4. Sunblast

He looks like Madam Fusion and VoltaiK’s child. Sunblast is an amazing denier. He has access to stamina drain, CDA, and possession. Even better is that all his CDA skills apply sunburn too, so if a monster has low cooldowns they have a chance at missing their attack completely from the accuracy drop. His possession moves drain stamina so if any monster is immune to possession they may have to recharge. His ability to drain stamina is also helped by his relic slots. He can equip the Oblation Staff and Oblation Trap to drain stamina. Basically, Sunblast has 3 different forms of denial so that no monster is safe (except Hookuai). If you’re immune to 1 he’ll hit you with another. He also can also apply daze to his enemies. Daze coupled with sunburn is a great way to drop the accuracy of any monster and make sure they miss (I guess Hookuai isn’t completely safe). Sunblast can do more than just deny, he can also even support his teammates by applying guard down on the enemies. He does have some downsides, like the fact that his speed, 3,509, is not the best especially for deniers, so if he faces a denier faster than him (which most likely will happen) he is kinda screwed. He has high cooldowns, so if he faces a CDA monster (the most common denial now) that’s faster than him he will be useless. He also has high stamina costs, but this can be solved with the Cane of Atlantis being equipped on him. Overall, Sunblast is an amazingly versatile denier that is by far one of the best fire monsters currently in the game.

3. Nitroblaster

The 3rd fire elite (stop making fire elites SP) added to the game. He is an extremely strong attacker (when fully ranked). He can dish out damage or use torture effects to kill you. Nitroblaster, with his best possible trait, has probably one of the best traits in the game. He gives himself protection to the one element capable of killing him + he can’t be controlled unless CDA. His stats are amazing and he has amazing skills. He can apply fire weakness to all the enemies increasing his damage output which is always nice. Like just thinking about a skill that applies double damage to all and gives themself an extra turn is crazy. Amazing stuff aside, he does have some big problems. The fact that he has to use The Posthuman to unleash his maximum damage potential is not the best since it gets rid of his amazing trait. Also, yeah The Posthuman gives him pierce, but unless the enemy has a trait of Area Dodge or Taunt, the pierce won't be all that useful. If the area dodge or mega taunt is a status caster, it will most likely already be removed making pierce useless. Also, if he already used The Posthuman and he gets controlled/lots of negative status effects applied, if you use NER on him he gets his trait back and loses all his perks from The Posthuman. The Posthuman is way too high risk for an above average reward. Not to mention he has huge cooldowns so cooldowns activated completely kills him. He also needs to be fully ranked up to be useful. He barely gets edged out by 2nd due to the fact that The Posthuman is necessary for him, but hurts him so much and because he needs to be ranked up.

2. Cain

He is literally a fire monster only because he’s red… Cain has 2 gimmicks, giving his enemies bleed and extra turns. These 2 gimmicks complement each other so well due to his amazing trait of bleed hater and all his extra turn moves apply bleed. So basically, if can gets the chance he can just give everyone bleed and give you the win. He has so many different skills that are good, which allows you to change the moveset of Cain to whatever you like. Being an extra turn monster you’d think Cain would have to use a stamina rune, but he doesn’t at all. He just needs to apply bleed to every monster and then he will still have stamina left over to do whatever he wants. His move Instant Rest is crazy. For 0 CD he can give himself stamina regen, health regen, damage boost, and NER. He can even keep himself alive with 100% life steal, and his life steal move does 70 special damage, so he gains a lot of health back. He can apply evasion to himself and he even has an AoE move that he can use after all enemies have bleed applied. His stats are amazing and his trait also has abomination, so he isn’t even weak to himself. His relic slots are amazing, he gets Uriel’s Essence so even when you kill him he can come back and change the tide of the whole battle. He isn’t completely weak to CDA either since some of his moves actually have 0 cooldowns. He is weak to anticipation monsters because the only moves that he has that apply bleeding to his enemies are the extra turn moves, so he needs them to bring out his full potential. He is really weak to monsters that are immune to bleeding because that is how he gets most of his damage done. Lastly, he is weak to Trait Disable because once he loses his bleed hater his damage output is severely dropped. He is a beast and definitely deserves to be 2nd on the list.

1. Mephisto

The pet is more powerful than the owner. Also, what’s the Mephistph joke? Mephisto is the best fire monster currently in the game. His stats and status caster show him to be a tank, but he is so much more than that. He can act as a curser and semi denier with his ability to drain stamina. As a tank, he has mega taunt, which is by far one of the best effects in the game right now. He also has a health stat above 46k allowing him to live for a long time. His armor relic slot also allows him to increase how long he lives by giving him shields or healing him if he has Atum’s Armor or Nebouts’ Armor. He can reapply mega taunt to himself and apply a legendaryphobic shield to himself, so he only be damaged by certain moves, increasing his survivability. If Mephisto loses his mega taunt then he isn’t useless because he still has the ability to curse and drain stamina. For draining stamina he has an AoE stamina leak, and AoE Nightmares + remove 50% stamina, and a single enemy 100% stamina removal. He basically can cause the enemies to recharge if they can recover their stamina or if they don’t have 0 stamina skills. As a curser he has AoE burn + ignite + extra turn, AoE Nightmares, and a single enemy Curse. He also has really low stamina costs, so he can use many moves without the worry of recharging. He has some problems, the main being his cooldowns are extremely high. Most of his cooldowns are either 2 or 3 turns long, so if he gets hit by CDA he can’t do anything. This is contributed by his speed being really low. He can’t get many turns due to his low speed so he won’t be able to actually use any moves if he gets CDA. Another problem is that if he faces someone that is immune to burn and ignite, (anyone with the demon trait) he loses his ability to curse since those deal the most damage. Another problem he has is that one of his relic slots is basically useless. He has the sword relic, which is better suited for attackers, not Mephisto. Overall, Mephisto’s positives and the fact that he has mega taunt cause him to be the best fire monster in the game.
