Thalassa ruled the Water Realms until she had to go with the other Warmasters. She left the realms in the hands of her daughter Thetys and her lieutenant Hydratila, but the war between the two of them divided the population. Now Thalassa has returned and she must reunify the Water Realms.

Role: Denier

Warmaster Thalassa is a great denier that specializes in Mega Freeze, PER, Trait Disabled, Drowned, and Freeze. Her ability to PER and Trait Disable the enemies, then deny them makes her able to take down almost any team that comes in her path. Definitely a Warmaster worth spending your Heroic Orbs on.

  • Amazing stats and trait
  • Powerful Special - AoE PER + Trait Disabled + Mega Freeze + Drowned
  • Her skill Abyss Bottom is ridiculously powerful
  • Trait Disable
  • Access to PER and NER
  • Five Mega Freeze skills in total

  • High cooldowns and stamina costs
  • Extra turns can also be anticipation bait

Recommended Moveset

The Mean Queen (Ranked)

  • High Pressure Fluid (PER + Self Extra Turn, 23s, 2 CD)
  • Thalassa's Chosen (Ally NER + Freeze Hater + Self Extra Turn, 30s, 2 CD)
  • Abyss Bottom (PER + Trait Disabled + AoE Mega Freeze, 49s, 4 CD)
  • Plankton Eater (Trait Disabled + Self Extra Turn, 36s, 4 CD)

She is a maximum denier + support. If she goes first, you can start to do the freeze hater, then continue with Extra Turn until all the allies have freeze hater.

Recommended Runes: 3 Speed

Recommended Relics: Nebotus' Armor; Supercharged Amulet, Tayni's Amulet

Frozen Antartic Waste (Unranked)

  • High Pressure Fluid
  • Thalassa's Chosen
  • Arctic Waves (AoE 30 Water dmg + Freeze + Drowned, 33s, 2 CD)
  • Abyssal Pressure (30 Water dmg + Mega Freeze + AoE residual damage, 32s, 3 CD)

Recommended Runes: 3 Speed

  • Anticipation monsters such as Warmaster Ragnarok, Narok, and Marquis de Flambe can counter her extra turn moves. Also, pair them up with a Tank such as Dunn Ra or another Anticipation monster so that she can't trait disable you that easily!
  • CDA users such as Pierceid, Sunblast, and Warmaster Sherezar can render Thalassa useless due to her huge cooldowns.
  • Strong Thunder attackers such as Warmaster Babari, Olnir, and Talany can deal deadly amounts of damage to Thalassa.
  • A very specific counter is Gorg. His SC: AoE Shock stops Thalassa from using her broken extra turns. He's also immune to Freeze, thus an unranked Thalassa will not be able to stop him. His self-support move, Whale Hunter, gives him Sea Hater and an extra turn, which is perfect for wiping out Thalassa.
  • Crabbydroid was literally made to wall Thalassa. Having both Freeze Immunity and Trait Protection, there's almost nothing she can do to him.
