Counters

  • Any Dark monster that hit really hard can handle Warthak. Some examples include Helgudin, Muerte McBlood, and heck, even Mountainsplitter counters himself with his Dark skills.
  • CDA monsters like Storm Beard can handle Warthak sets that don't have Mountainsplitter Stroke. But for sets that do, be wary of that skill.
  • Since all of Warthak's skills are ones that deal damage and attack the opponents, he can be hard-countered by Total Blind. You can also stop his hard-hitting attacks with Total Damage Reduction. Some monsters with these effects include Dungeon Master, Mirak, O'Reilly, and Rociuko.
  • Even though Warthak is immune to Control, he can be trait disabled to remove this immunity (Draghar, Warmaster Thalassa and Madam Fusion to name a few).
  • Warthak has no form of self NER, leaving him potentially vulnerable to torture effects. Some monsters that can apply many Torture Effects are Marquis de Flambe, Draghar, and Gualgui.
  • Warthak has high stamina costs, making him weak to Stamina Drainers, such as Wangzhou and Nabuline.
